Public Voting Public Voting

PWO-EXPO 2022 like all exhibitions conducted on the Virtuafil Platform introduces the new and unique concept of public (popular) voting. Traditional philatelic exhibitions only allow members of the jury to evaluate and to vote on the exhibits, but in Virtuafil exhibitions, we allow members of the general public to give their opinions too.

When you are visiting the exhibition, you will see a "VOTE" button for each exhibit...

  • You do not need to be registered on Virtuafil to click the VOTE button.
  • When you click the VOTE button, no personal information is captured.
  • The VOTE button is visible on all exhibits, even in non-competitive Classes.
  • You can vote for as many exhibits as you like but you can only vote for each exhibit once.
  • At the end of the exhibition, in each Class and/or Class Group, the top three exhibits with the most public votes win either the Gold, Silver or Bronze Popular Vote Trophy for that Class/Group, in the form of a special, downloadable digital certificate. No physical trophies are available.

We would sincerely appreciate it if all visitors to PWO-EXPO 2022 take the time to vote on their favourite exhibit(s).

PLEASE NOTE: Public voting is anonymous and is based on the visitors' public IP address (the ID of their CURRENT internet connection). If you are in an environment where multiple people are sharing an internet connection (shared Wi-Fi or school/office network), then the public IP address will be the same for all users. Since only one vote is possible per exhibit, per IP address, only one person can vote in such environments. It is not possible for several members of a family or group of work colleagues to vote several times for one exhibit when using the same IP address. Additionally, if you have cast votes from one location and subsequently move to another location, the icon indicating that you have already voted will not display.
